2014 Tree Requests

2014 Tree Requests

Progress Report for 2014

Seven requests for tree actions have been received and are being processed for submission to the KPOA Board before being submitted to Jefferson County its disposition in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

As experienced in the last few years, county review can take some time but we will try to keep everyone informed as to where we are in that process. Right now sponsors of the tree actions are being interviewed to make sure the trees are clearly identified and photographed to prepare for the next step; soliciting bids from Arborists and Biologists to do the work of evaluating the requests and writing reports for county review.

The Kala Point community is a common-interest residential homeowners association (HOA). By purchasing or building within Kala Point homeowners agree to follow the HOA’s governing documents, which include Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions of Record (CC&Rs), Rules and Regulations, By-Laws and detailed Administrative Policies and Procedures (APPs). APPs are board-enacted rules. The protective umbrella of these governing documents works in the best interest of all homeowners ensuring higher standards of neighborhood appearance and enhancing the collective value of the homes.
